Today I watched my three boys administer the sacrament. Sam blessed, David prepared (and passed because we did not have enough deacons today) and Isaac passed the sacrament. I was so proud of my boys. This is the only time we will have a priest, teacher and deacon at the same time. It was a tissue moment for mom.
I know what you are thinking, I must be beating the girls off with a stick. And believe me, I have a BIG stick!! Just a warning! Millie

You've had a birthday, shout hooray!!
Isaac has had another birthday! He waited 4 days to celebrate because of a camp out and he wanted Sam and Far Mor to be there and they had been out of town. We gathered after dinner in the living room for the unveiling of the gifts. We always put the gifts in a big basket on the trunk. Isaac got to look at them for 4 days!!
What had Ainzlee so excited?
This Cheez-It box!! She thought Isaac got Cheez-its and was very excited about it.
These guys love a party and want to be as close to the action as they can.
Isaac wanted a green scarf so I made him one. I have to admit I have gotten pretty good at it!
He got a new tent and sleeping bag for all those fun scout camp outs he will get to go on now.
He also got the first three Fablehaven books which I can hardly wait to start reading. ( It is hard to wait for Isaac to read them first!)
A giant chocolate cookie with raspberry sauce from Far Mor. Yum.
I am not sure what Arlee is doing but I think Luke and Raylynn and Ainzlee are having a dance party on the couch.
Isaac and his cake all lit up.
They all love to lick the candles.
Raylynn and Luke waiting for cake and icecream. Why does Luke always have a goofy look on his face? Happy Birthday Isaac!! Love ya lots!! Mom

Sam's Eagle Court of Honor....finally!!
We finally got it put together and did it!! Sunday was Sam's Eagle Court of Honor.
Here he is giving the Eagle Pledge with all the other eagles in the eagle's nest. (Thanks David MacDonald for being there and doing this for us. Also seen in the background is Vance Stephens who MC'd the whole thing and was a big help with the slide show, thanks Vance!).
Do we look like proud parents? Well we are!! He did good!!
Sam pinning Rob with the dad's pin.
Me getting my mom's pin. (We worked hard for these pins and wear them with pride.)
Rob putting on Sam's eagle scarf.
This is how good a kid he is, he knew his dad was putting the scarf on backwards and he didn't want to embarrass him so he did not say anything and wore it that way all night!! You gotta love him.
The Battle Ground Elks came and gave him a flag.
The flag flew over the capital in Washington DC on March 15, 2010.
Sam gave his mentor pin to Bishop King who was also his Scout Master and got him to life scout before he turned 14. He is a good man.
Lots of friends and family came. We were surprised by how many. We felt very supported and loved!
Kaylynn and her family were there.
Far Mor and her sister Shirley were there.
Lynette Pickup and Carol Brown (not shown, your welcome Carol!) helped, no, they did everything in the kitchen and kept the food coming. What a blessing to have really good friends.
I worried a lot about not having enough food but thanks to Mitzi King who made meatballs and Shauna Stephens who made a Texas chocolate cake, we had enough.
And here are those who took care of the flag ceremony!! Just a bunch of fun guys.
It was a great night, glad it is over and really am thankful to all of those who helped us put it together, especially Rob who worked for days to put together the agenda, find those who spoke and participated, and put together an awesome slide show. No wonder Sam is such a good boy with a Dad like Rob. I love my guys!! Millie

Sr Night at the Soccer Game and what you get when you let the 7 year old use the camera!!
The last game of the season was Sr. night. Here are our seniors all lined up and ready. We had 11 this year on the varsity team. Sam is the third one from the right.
Here I am with Sam. Rob was in the booth doing the announcing. (Hey Donna here's my orange boots!!) It was a beautiful sunny day!! Great for a soccer game.
Sam and his co-captain Christian meeting with the refs and other teams captains.
Here they are all lined up for the National anthem (which Rob sang). Sam is the third white suited one after the refs.
And this is about 5 minutes into the game. Sam went down on his ankle wrong and had to come out of the game. The team trainer is looking at the damage.
This is Sam watching his team from the bench.
This is Sam limping off for half time. He has a bag of ice on his ankle.
And this is Sam watching the second half of the game. And thus ends his high school soccer career!! Oh well.
Luke still took pictures of the team.
And one of Alec going to get a wayward ball.
And the fence.
And his shoe!! There were some others that it was hard to tell just what exactly he was taking a picture of!! You gotta love the boy. Millie

To our Moms
I know it is a little early for Mother's Day but I found this picture in Isaac's pictures and loved it!! We are so blessed to have two great moms in our lives, Far Mor and Grandma Julie. We love them both very much and are glad they live close by (Far Mor right next door and Grandma Julie only about 30 minutes away) and we get to see them often and have them over for things, like Sam's B-day!! We want our moms to know we love them lots and appreciate all they have done for us and continue to do for us and our families. Thanks Mom!! We love you!

Isaac playing soccer.
We are almost done with Isaac's soccer season. Isaac plays sweeper (middle defender) just like all the other boys and Hannah.
Here he is defending!!
Here he is hustling after the ball.
Here he is doing a goalie kick.
This is not Isaac, it is another blonde boy on the team!!
Isaac doing what he does best!! It will be nice to not have a soccer game on Saturdays. Just one more to go. Millie
