How does this happen?
Occasionally she will be found climbing the walls of her home. Now this I would understand if she had some little turtlets but she is single and lives alone. You would not think a turtle would be much fun but Skye has proven to be an interesting pet. Millie

Why Luke and Rob are my heroes or Millie's big adventure.
I am so glad Luke was home and this did not happen an hour later after he was gone. Or I would have spent the day in the bathroom until Isaac got home at 2:40. If I would have had to stay in the bathroom I could have taken a bath and fixed my hair and put on my makeup. I could have scrubbed the grout in the tiles and washed down the walls. I could have touched up the paint with a tooth brush or cotton ball. I could have curled up on the rug and used a towel for a blanket. But I am glad I did not have to stay the day in the bathroom!! Thanks to Luke and Rob my two heroes. (Those of you who have know us for a while will remember a similar episode when Rob and I got locked in the library. Same type of knob. We worked and worked to get it off and finally had to remove the door. Our wonderful children came running in and said we knew you would get out. We just said a prayer! Luke and I did pray and then his dad answered the phone!) Millie

I enjoyed summer this year, it came on a Saturday!
We have had the second wettest May in the history of keeping record!! And June so far is not far behind. Yesterday at church Chris Berg made the comment, "I enjoyed summer this year, it came on a Saturday". Which was true. Saturday dawned blue skyed and sunny all day. Lawns were mowed. Service projects done without getting drenched. Children played in the sun. People showed up at church pink and in some cases red from their time in the sun. And then at midnight on Saturday night the rains came in again. It was a little discouraging to get up to the pour down rain once again. And this week looks gray and wet. But we do live in Washington where it is suppose to rain. Just not this much rain please!! But everything is very green and lush and pretty much over grown!! We have definatly needed our gills this spring but are hoping to dry out and have another day of summer soon!! Millie
