Not forgotten!

I want you to know I have not forgotten my blog and I am not just slacking off!! My computer is going through some sort of phase and will not allow me to upload pictures on to my blog. When I try (and I have many times) it shuts down completely and has to reboot itself. So, I have not been able to blog the pictures I want to blog! And for some reason I seem to need pictures to go with my blog. Just wanted to let you know I am still here and not just sitting around waiting for the rain to stop and spring to come (I am doing that, but that is not all!). Millie

Our snow is all gone......

...but I wanted to share these two pictures. For a few days they kept putting us on snow routes and we saw no snow except if you looked to areas of higher elevation, like just up the road, you could see the snow. I love these pictures of the snow just on one side of these trees.

The whole woods up the field looked like this. Just random trees with snow on them. One of those freak of nature things I guess. Millie

Pizza Night

A friend gave us these bags of chibata (sound it out!) bread and we made pizzas out of them. It was very easy and really good. Just put the bread on a cookie sheet, spread your favorite spaghetti sauce or pizza sauce on, sprinkle with cheese, and then we put on these little baby pepperonis that are way cute and olives on most but not all because we have some anti olive people in our house.

Then for dessert we had fruit pizza!! We love this and since the strawberries were on sale and smelled like strawberries (the fun thing was they tasted like strawberries too!) we made one. It was delicious! Millie

What's wrong with this picture?

The poor little crocuses thought it was spring and bloomed and then it snowed and the temperature fell and now they don't look so good.

Poor little frozen things. One more thing ready for no snow and spring around here! Millie

So, we had a little snow!

This was last week's snow!! We did get a day out of school! Since then we have had a few more snow falls. And another day out of school.

It does look pretty on the ground and when it is coming down.

Isaac and Luke took the sleds up to Far Mor's and spent the morning sledding.

They did enjoy the snow and have been hoping for more! We had snow for a few days when everyone else below was done. But now the rain has returned and we are back to green and mud. I personally am glad! Millie

Yes, today is my birthday!!

And I am grateful for friends and family who have remembered me today!! I have been blessed with good friends and a great family. We aren't doing the whole dinner and cake thing until Sunday because we do not have a night this week when we are all home! But when I got home from scouts and soccer gifts had been left and then my visiting teachers brought over more!! I did eat most of the chocolate dipped strawberries and do not plan on sharing the rest! And all day long my phone has beeped with messages from family wishing me a happy birthday and my phone rang also! Thanks to you all for making me feel loved and special! Millie
