Last night was our annual Halloween party. We were missing a couple of our regular couples.
One was the Cobabes (here they are last year as a cat and hairball). They were at the airport picking up Jodie's parents who were getting home from their 18 month temple mission. Yes parents returning are more important than our party, but just barely! They were missed.
Also missing were the MacDonald's (seen here last year as tourists). They were at their senior son's (who happens to be the quarterback) final football game of the year. So, I guess kids also trump the Halloween Party as well they should. We hope to see them both next year.
Here are Rob and I as sick and tired. Oh ya, that was last year's costume!!
Here we are in this year's costume, as, can you guess? Yes we are candy corn. I know but it was simple and easy to put together.
Here are Carol and Bryon as the mad chef's. I don't know if they were actually mad but this does look a little crazy. They brought meatballs that were to die for.
This was the best costume of the evening. The Reese's (new to our gathering) came and occupied. It was perfect for the time and political climate. They were fun to have here.
The Hollingshead's came as sumo wrestlers. Gary was a sumo wrestler after being on the biggest loser! Loved Kelly's chunky salsa! (That had nothing to do with her costume!)
The Scherette's came as the corner and his dead body. Here we have John holding Tammy's liver! They were a little late but it was okay because they brought dessert, creme puffs and nutella!! Yum! We had a lot of fun playing Funglish one of my new favorite games. Rob and I decided on next year's costume while cleaning up!! Can hardly wait! Millie
