He is not here.....

This is a very typical picture of David. He lives plugged in. But he will not be plugged in for the next three days. David is off on Trek. And yes he left his mp3 player and ear phones home (I saw them in his room). He had said he was going to sneak them along, but in the end he did not even try. He is a good boy and we do miss him. Pictures from the back seat.......by Isaac Henrikson

This was our trip back from Weiser. Isaac must have had the camera and about 7 hours on his hands! Some times these are the most interesting pictures on your camera. The ones you did not know were taken. Millie

You've had a birthday, shout hooray!

So, Luke is now nine! He is growing up so fast. Friday we celebrated his birthday. He had a full on birthday day which started with Sam taking him to lunch and a surprise party when he got home. Then a friend who could not make the party came bearing gifts and played for a while. Then we had a barbecue with family.

Rob and Far Mor watching as he opens his pile of presents.

Stina, Carol and Grandma Julie also looking on. David is in the left bottom corner and Grandpa Frank is in the upper right corner.

Luke and his pile! It is hard to tell garbage from gifts at this point. Happy Birthday Luke. We love you lots. Mom

First Weinie Roast of the Year!!

Okay, so it happened two months ago, but my computer finally let me download some pictures!!
It was a beautiful day in May (and believe me we did not have a whole lot of those!) so we broke out the hotdogs and marshmallows and stoked up the fire.

You have to admit that looks like a perfect roasted marshmallow just waiting for the graham and chocolate.

Isaac letting me take a rare picture. He has decided he does not want to be in pictures. Oh ya, he is thirteen.

Rob roasting a dog or mallow, probably for his wife, he is good that way!

David and Whitney (David's very cute friend) just enjoying the fun filled evening with the family and a fire!! Millie

Luke

Cindi gave me a hard time for not putting Luke in the last blog because he does not own a pretty colorful tie. So, I decided if my computer would let me I would blog him in his Native American deer head dress, which by the way none of the other boys own!!

This was at his potlatch before school got out. Every year the third graders do a Native American study. I got to spend three afternoons at the school helping the kids to put their head dresses together. It was really fun, no seriously it was. They did a really good job at the potlatch with their songs and dances. Don't know how I did it but I was sitting where I could actually see Luke and okay hold on to your seats, I remembered to take my camera and got actual pictures!! I know, it is a surprise. Just can't seem to blog them! But miracles of miracles I actually got to upload two pictures. I am afraid to try any more. Maybe the key is to blog late Sunday night. We'll see. Millie
