The rain has returned with a vengence! Oh well. We had 2 great weeks with Hannah here. Now she is back in Rexburg and getting ready to start her internship. We are super proud of her. She is all grown up and entering the grown up world. I worked the book fair yesterday with another mom. She has two boys and the oldest is in first grade. She is already worried about middle school and high school!! She could not believe I have one in the primary school, one in the middle school, one in high school, one getting ready for college and one graduated from college. Wow they are spread out! When your kids are little and under foot you keep wondering what it will be like when they are in school and then out. Now I miss having them under foot and under my roof. Millie

Is that the sun?

Yes the sun has finally shown it self in the beautiful green northwest! And we are loving it! (Yes the rain is coming again tomorrow but we are loving today!) So, if I had to say what has been my favorite spring thing this year, I would have to say baby llamas. I know how random that sounds but I have driven by this llama farm a few times this week and there are all these little woolly baby llamas. Now I will admit I am not normally a llama fan. I do not understand what they are for. I have a friend who is moving and has gotten rid of all her animals but can not find a home for her three llamas. I did not offer to take them. As I said I don't get the whole llama thing. But these baby llamas are so cute. Don't want one but I like looking at them! (Rob just brought home a hydrengea (okay sound it out!) plant. Yay! I love those. Can hardly wait to find a place to plant it.)
Happy Spring!! And Happy Easter. Millie

See you when we get back!

Okay, so, we are off to Rexburg in the wee hours of the morning (I know I should be in bed). There had better not be any snow!! (Heard some rumors, am hoping and praying they stay rumors!) When I return I will be the proud parent of a college graduate! Yay!! Hopefully I will be able to post some pictures. If I remember to take any. I do have a bit of a weakness in that area. Millie

My baby girl is graduating from college!!

So, this weekend Rob and I are headed to Rexburg, Idaho. It is one of those get in the car and drive all day (12 to 13 hours), spend a day in Rexburg and then the next day get in the car again and drive all day to get home. Why would we do such a thing you ask. Well our little girl and only daughter Hannah is graduating on Saturday from BYU-I. Four years ago we were getting ready for high school graduation and wondering what the future held for her and now she is graduating with her degree in Child Development and starting an internship in May. It is hard to believe she is so grown up. And I am so proud of her. She made a plan and has stuck with it. It will be fun and exciting and a little scary to see what she plans next and then to watch her do it!! She is such a great young lady. (I would post a picture but you know, my stupid computer!) Hannah, I love you and I am so proud and blessed to be your Mom!! See you in 2 days! Millie

I love conference!!!

I can not believe how good conference was today. I am filled with wonder that my Heavenly Father really does know my needs and things I really needed to hear today were the topics of today's sessions. It continues to amaze me that I can pray for answers and help with struggles and trials and through His prophets the Lord answers those prayers time and time again. This has been a good day and I am looking forward to tomorrows sessions. Millie
